Discovery Channel weight loss special featuring Geisinger’s Dr. Still
to re-air May 17, 24 and June 21
Danville, PA—Geisinger's Center for Obesity and Weight Management Director Dr. Christopher Still’s recent appearance on the Discover Health channel weight loss expert panel will re-air three times over the next few weeks. Discovery Health's Effectively Treating Obesity-Related Diabetes featuring Dr. Still as an expert panelist is scheduled for encore airings on Saturday, May 17 (8 am), Saturday, May 24 (9 am) and Saturday, June 21 (8 am). The program reviews the importance of weight loss and lifestyle changes in helping to prevent complications of diabetes and explores the potential benefits of bariatric surgery for selected obese, diabetic patients. |
